Curriculum outline
  1. 1

    Computing Fundamentals

    Covers the basics of how computers work — hardware components, software types, installing programs, formatting a computer, navigating the internet, and understanding modern technologies. Builds a solid foundation for all further digital learning.

    Use of Software

    Hands-on training in essential workplace software: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, alongside business software, cloud storage, collaboration tools, and digital communication platforms — the core toolkit for any modern office or study environment.

  3. 3

    Typing & Productivity Skills

    Building typing speed and accuracy alongside effective file organization and time-management techniques using digital tools, improving overall efficiency in computer-based tasks.

  4. 4

    Digital Safety & Cybersecurity Basics

    Practical guidance on protecting personal data, recognizing phishing and scams, creating strong passwords, and safe browsing habits — essential for anyone operating online today.

  5. 5

    Introduction to the Internet & Online Services

    Navigating web browsers, using email effectively, understanding online forms/applications, and accessing government or institutional digital services (e-payments, online registration, etc.)

  6. 6

    AI for Academics and Business

    An introduction to Artificial Intelligence and its practical applications: using AI tools for research and learning, content creation (text, images, presentations), data analysis and visualization, productivity and automation, plus guidance on the ethical use of AI.

  7. 7

    Final Project

    A capstone task where learners apply computing, software, and AI skills learned throughout the program to a real, practical assignment — such as creating a professional document, presentation, or small digital workflow — demonstrating readiness to use these tools independently

  8. 8

    Internship

    A short practical placement giving participants the opportunity to apply their digital skills in a real organizational or business setting, building workplace experience and confidence ahead of employment or further study.

What you need to join
  • No specific academic qualification required; open to students, professionals, and beginners of all backgrounds
  • Basic literacy (ability to read and write) is sufficient
  • No prior computer experience necessary — the program starts from the absolute basics
  • Applicants must be at least 14 years old (students, job seekers, and working professionals are all welcome)
  • Willingness to learn and practice hands-on
  • Interest in improving digital competence for school, work, or business
  • Personal laptop recommended but not mandatory (practice devices available on-site)
  • Completed registration form
  • Valid ID (National ID card, student ID, or passport)
  • Payment of program fee (80,000 FCFA)
